Rugs lead the way: Decorate your home

Decorating your home with area rugs is one of the easiest ways to update and enhance the interior of your residence. Rugs come on remarkable color and design to every room; create a central point or define areas; add warmth to the look and conducive setting. You can easily change rugs seasonal and take them with you if you move. Home rugs are typical interest of many do-it-yourself decorators.

Color is the most important element in decorating. Make it the top of your requirements when selecting home rugs. If a room has circled with a bright colors and look s very hectic, prefer for a neutral color and a subtle design for the rugs.  You can add a splash of color and interest with a bright rug and a dramatic design if the colors of the room are soft and neutral. The pattern on the rug must not clash with patterns on the, sofa coverings, wallpaper, cushions, and other fabrics in the room. Dark colors add warmth, and light colors will enhance the room to appear more spacious. If you wish to enhance the color scheme that already present in a room, deal with a rug that repeats the dominant color. For the bathroom, kitchen, hall, and room of a child, select designs and colors that: don’t show much dirt, have are stain resistant and easy to clean.

Large area rugs go well in living rooms, kitchens, and, large bedrooms while smaller area rugs work best in hallways, and bathrooms, foyers. Rugs placed under tables should be bi g enough than the table itself, if possible with an equal amount of border showing on all sides. As long as the colors are coordinated, you can place more than one area rug in the same room.

Maintenance is also important for the fully usage of rugs. Also adding a pad under a rug is a good idea for keeping it from moving, absorb sound, and make vacuuming easier.
