Mealworms and Superworms Comparison

Mealworms and superworms, as I have mentioned on my previous post regarding "Raising Mealworms and Superworms" are both good source of protein for pets and human. Aside from that these organisms are great as fish bait for you fishing activities. The following are the different difference between these two organisms, let us start with mealworms characteristics. The usual larva has a length of 1 to 1.2 inch. Its composition is 51% crude protein and 30% crude fat. On the other hand the living larva of superworms have a length of 2 to 2.75 inches which is twice longer than the latter.  It is 52% crude protein and 29% crude fat.

Both of them are great as feed for pets, protein additive to different condiments consumed by human and even made as part of the flours or noodles.
